Jutai Hardwood

Jutai wood is suitable for floors, wall cladding and panelling. Due to the beautiful veins, Jutai is also often used decoratively. This hardwood originates from Central and South America. It has different colours, ranging from purple brown to dark red.

Freshly cut 950-1200 kg / m3. At 12% moisture content from 750 to 900 kg / m3.

Jutai wood has a dark reddish brown colour.

This wood has a beautiful fine pattern.
Grain
Straight, sometimes irregular threads and light cross-thread.
Timber texture
Fine to moderately coarse.
Drying
Jutai wood dries slowly.
Workability
Fairly easy to work with and finish.
Screwing/nailing
Pre-drilling is necessary for Jutai hardwood.
